The islands have long white sandy beaches, water which moves through exotic hues of blue - from azure to turquoise, and the famous blue coral and turtles which are so popular with divers and snorkellers who come from all over the world.

Gili Trawangan's development began around 20 years as a result of informed travellers seeking an 'undiscovered' tropical island paradise. It is the furthest of the three from Lombok but only takes around 10 minutes by speedboat.
