With a commanding view of the famous Tanah Lot sea temple, this oceanfront resort offers superb luxury. Its magnificent pools, traditional spa and rice-paddy landscaping provide a true Bali experience. Le Meridien Nirwana Bali Golf & Spa Resort is the only hotel in Bali with its own 18-hole, Greg Norman-designed golf course. It is also close to the main tourist and shopping attractions of the island. The beautifully designed and luxuriously appointed 278-room Le Meridien Nirwana Bali Golf & Spa Resort is set within 100-hectares, allowing its guests an exhilarating feeling of spaciousness and an affinity with the natural surroundings of rice terraces, lushly landscaped gardens and pools.
At Le Meridien Nirwana Bali Golf & Spa Resort, the breathtaking vistas and natural ambience make this resort unlike any other in Bali. The view from the lobby takes in the crashing waves and rice terraces. The seat of Bali’s mystical culture is just next-door where the enchanting Tanah Lot sea temple is perched on a rocky outcrop and the views at dusk are spectacular! Guest rooms and suites all feature large balconies with views of the Indian Ocean, golf course or gardens.
The prestigious Le Meridien Nirwana Bali Golf & Spa Resort is located along Bali’s magnificent southwest coast and is framed by volcanic mountain backdrops and breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean. Within easy travel distance are Bali’s best shopping, dining and nightlife areas. Also close by are some of the best known places of interest such as Ubud - a flourishing artist colony, the sacred Sangeh Monkey Forest, Mengwi Temple, Lake Brattan as well as many of Bali’s most scenic forest drives.
The newly developed area on the south west coast of Bali, just 45 minutes from the International Airport, offers a truly unique experience. For the return visitor to Bali, it is the Bali of old, rich in custom, graceful, charming and peaceful in its surroundings. To the new visitor, it is the ‘ideal Bali’ with sloping rice fields, romantic sunsets, colourful and lovable people.
This is the true Bali, removed, yet not remote. The mood and ambience of the resort is calming, graceful, and elegant, yet friendly and welcoming. Vast, dramatic views, wide open spaces and the stunning golf course make this resort arguably the most unique and spectacular in Bali.
Adjacent to the main lagoon is the venue for our weekly seafood market in an open-air setting. Set upon seven-meter cliffs, guests enjoy the sounds of the crashing waves of the Indian Ocean and the warm, tropical breezes. The beach is not accessible from here, although at low tide the black, sandy beach provides some great opportunities for morning or evening walks. Access is gained just 100 metres along the cliff top.
The beauty and simplicity of the traditional architecture of the low-lying buildings is striking. The hand-thatched ceiling of the lobby reveals the skills of local tradesmen and sets the scene for a true Balinese experience. The resort features stone relief carvings, delicate wood detailing and temples, which capture the essence of Bali. No detail has been overlooked and great care has been taken to ensure that each facet of the design is in keeping with Balinese style. Water is a predominant feature of the resort and is incorporated throughout the hotel’s extensive gardens, waterfalls and ponds, providing a very pleasant stroll for resort guests.
